DIY

These are the things that if I can do it myself for cheaper I want to. I'm thinking that I'll make them here and mail them in a box to Oregon.

This is something I really want to encorporate. There is a gold table near the entrance that I want to include all of this.http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/wedding-photo-crafts?lpgStart=1&currentslide=8&currentChapter=1#ms-global-breadcrumbs

We have one of these only better!!!!!

For guest book:

http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/25-guest-book-ideas#slide_9

The two above options I'm leaning towards. I'd like to combine them into one. The address on one side and the recommended well wishes on the other. I'm thinking finding my own address card display would be best because those that I can find for this purpose are all around $70. So if I could find an address set or just a box that I could cut the paper to our needs that would be better.

I'd also really like to embroider something like this somewhere on my dress. It's a sweet touch.

http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/ring-bearer-book-how-to

This is my favorite option for the ring bearer. I think that finding a book at goodwill and cutting the circle inside would be fun and affordable.

http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/decoration-templates

This is a very simple template that could be fun to utilize the children present. They stand up and present each of the next events, first dance, cake cutting, ect. Or I have considered using a chalkboard below for all of them as well.http://www.etsy.com/listing/55348095/vintage-style-chalkboard-buy-any-two

The chalkboard was an idea stemming from thank you cards. I'd like the thank you's to encorperate a picture from the day with Justin and I holding a sign saying thank you! and then making them into postcards.http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/handmade-thank-you-cards-photo-postcards#slide_3

Another idea I love is utilizing this stamp for touches throughout the day. I think that cutting them out would make cute cake toppers, or they'd be nice cut out and hung fun places like trees or chairs. http://www.etsy.com/listing/54506273/baby-shower-bridal-shower-umbrella-hand

This is what I originally thought of them for. Instead of Butterflys there would be umbrellas and instead of place cards table numbers.http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/laura-butterfly-seating-cards?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/laura-and-ben#slide_12

We thought that printing these out for the Kids there would be fun! And they're the perfect colors.http://images.marthastewartweddings.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2009Q3/msw_sum09_photoscavengerhunt.pdf

For Garlands:http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/pom-poms-and-luminarias?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/paper-and-fabric-flowers#slide_4
I'm almost positive that I can make these much cheaper than I can buy them. They are tissue paper and whichever string you want to use. Strung together they form a nice garland. They are light and can be easily hung with sticky tack.

Scrapbook paper might be a good resource for the colored paper in a garland like above.

I also really really love this, in my colors, anywhere really.

These are the materials that I'll need for these projects:
3. medium weight paper (to make own address files)
4. pens (for signing)
6. book (for rings)
7. (punch?)
9. embroidery hoop (for dress)
10. embroidery floss
11. white cardstock (For table numbers)
12. ink pad (for stamping)
13. stamp $8.00
14. more white cardstock (for thank you cards)
15. floral wire (for poms center)
16. 1 pom takes 8 tissues (assorted sizes)
17. monofilament floral wire (to hang pom from, or perhaps twine would work)
18. twine (for garland)
19. styrofoam balls (for garland)
20. spray paint
21. needlenose plyers
22. o rings
23. upholstry needle
24. invisiable thread (for garland)
25. varius felt

Food

I am really really trying to find affordable food for our big day. It is exceptionally hard but I did find two potential options. Both are out of the Portland vicinity so I need to find out what the implications of that are.

http://woodennickel.com/Menu_Complete.pdf

Between the two of them I'm hoping that we can come up with our own option.

Photographer

These are some of my top favorites. I'm not really sure how I am going to afford what I want. I'm pretty sure I'll print them myself. So that will save on cost. (?) I just really don't know. This one is one of the most important to me. But also one I know the least about.

Justin thinks that we should just use people we know
people we know are
Lindsey Manus
Ashley Campbell
Philip Orsini
Carla (suzannah)

I also am considering incorporating these:

Foyer

In the Foyer I'd like the guest book, some small unifying decorations as well as a family wedding homage.

Groomsmen

So I found a great shop on Etsy that sells these great non-feminine ties. These are Justin's favorites. Below are the color options for them I really like the mint and the red.

http://www.etsy.com/listing/53586859/clipper-ship-narrow-necktie-silkscreencxe

These are listed at $30 And this one is both Justin and my favorite. I like the idea of blue even perhaps keeping the boats black or printing them red.http://www.etsy.com/listing/42696486/9-groomsmen-microfiber-neckties-wedding
These are listed at 40.00 per.
http://www.etsy.com/listing/55882425/absinthe-wormwood-leaves-screenprinted
These are listed at $40http://www.etsy.com/listing/55932814/aw-shoot-silk-revolver-gun-screenprinted
This is listed at $40. Obviously this is not my favorite but he wanted me to put it in so i did. (:http://www.etsy.com/listing/42697832/3-silk-groomsmen-neckties-matching
Listed as $40 individually.
This was the only one that I liked that Justin didn't pick out, but these were the ones that initially stood out to me.

Justin has expressed his desire to be the only one in a tux. (oh this just tickles me!) So we are thinking black pants with a white button up and I've just thought of it, SUSPENDERS! That will just make everything perfect! The light blue, red or black would look nice I think.
